I'm short-sighted and have been wearing glasses since I was 11.
I had wanted to wear contact lenses on the first months desperately then I got used to them and forget about lenses. Whenever I tell my mom how much I hate wearing glasses she talks about my aunt who tried to wear lenses instead of glasses and got an illness from eye. I mean, she refuses my lens offer all the time. But this summer, she finally chanced her ideas and agreed with me about them. I went to see my doctor for a checkup and talking about using lenses instead of glasses. He said okay, lets test if you are cool with them. I sat in front of a mirror, he cleaned his hands and we started. It was really hard for me to wear them. He helped me, we tried many times and I could wear one of them after about half of an hour and he told : "You are not really ready to use them, you have fast reflexes and we need to wait you to grow up." He explained these all to me like I'm a five years old girl. You can imagine how disappointed I was at that moment. Actually, I'm still disappointed.
I hate my doctor and I blame myself for the unsuccesful try of wearing lenses.

My cousin Merve, her friend (actually my friend too) Nagihan and I went to a rock festival on Saturday.
The festival is called Barışarock. (Barış means peace in Turkish). It's an alternative concert organization for another festival called Rock'n Coke which is organized by help of Coca Cola. Barışarock defends anti-capitalism and peace, of course. The money they get is used for charity and you do not need to give money to join. Only Turkish bands playing in Barışarock on the other hand Muse, Placebo, Gogol Bordello and some other bands coming to Rock'n Coke. Whatever, I need to stop comparing two organizations.. :P
We got there a little late so I missed Çilekeş but I catched Deli, Çamur, Zardanadam, Aylin Aslım and Mor ve Ötesi. It was fun to listen favorite songs and jump around. Half of people had tents so It was really colourful.
I meet Emir (a friend from school) by chance. We both got surprised to see each other. Hope we can be in the same class this year.
The worst thing about the festival was that we couldn't get there on Sunday. I couldn't see Pinhani, Anima, Çatafalque, Demir Demirkan and Redd.
Hope this festival goes on and grows up year by year.. :)

I do have a header now, don't I ?
I was talking about clouds or any artist I could use in my future header. When checking onehotglobe forums I found a picture shows two of the things I love most. Clouds and Chili Peppers. It's not really good looking but it's enough for me by now.

When "Prison Break" was playing on tv with its 1st season I didn't watch it. I didn't like it because *the girls* were watching it to see Wentworth (playing Scotfield) and to talk about how handsome he is. I hate girls like them who fall in love with a movie/rock star seen in tv.
However, It was on cnbc-e again until new season comes. I watched first 3 episodes and now I'm addicted to it !
It keeps me wandering what's gonna happen and most of the time I *think* what's gonna happen..
I saw on IMDB that 2nd season premiere will be on Fox tomorrow night. Guess I could watch it next January or February on Cnbc-e.
And Wentworth Miller is not that hot at all.. :P

Something is missing on my journal, guess what ? Oh yes, it's the true answer. I don't have any header right now.
I'm always saying to myself "I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it.." but I never know what exactly I want.
Sometimes I want to do something cute with some flower or cake or chocolate pictures (how disgusting I am) but sometimes I want to use celebrities. Make sure to pick a celebrity is much much harder for me.
Whatever, by now I'm thinking to prepare something with using musician pictures. I can use Chili Peppers, Beatles, Björk or somebody else.
The only thing I know about my header is that : *clouds*. Yes, I want a blue sky and clouds.. But it's not enough.. :(
